EDI Developer (Junior)

• Work with EDI formats like X12, EDIFACT, XML, and JSON
• Build and maintain EDI mappings for incoming and outgoing data
• Convert EDI files to internal systems (ERP, databases, APIs, flat files)
• Review partner requirements and apply correct mapping rules
• Test and fix EDI transactions to ensure correct data flow
• Support new partners, monitor transactions, and keep documentation updated

• At least 1 year of experience as developer in related fields
• Basic knowledge of Java, JavaScript, SQL.
• Basic English skills: able to read, write, and communicate
• Willingness to learn EDI tools, standards, and integration technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand technical documentation and trading partner guidelines.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of the container shipping domain, logistics, and relevant EDI standards
• Knowledge in the EDI & API field: mapping tools (IBM Sterling, Gentran, Seeburger…), standards (EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML and JSON…), communication protocols (FTP, SFTP, AS2…), API concepts (REST/SOAP)
