JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact; receive requirements, consult on solutions, and manage client expectations to prevent Scope Creep.
  • Resource & Cost Management: Effectively allocate personnel (Devs, Testers, BAs) across projects to optimize Billable Hours and ensure company profitability.
  • Planning & Tracking: Develop the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), establish milestones, and closely monitor progress to avoid late delivery penalties.
  • Process Management: Ensure the team adheres to the company’s or the client’s development processes (typically Agile/Scrum or Waterfall as required).
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and manage Change Requests (CR) to optimize costs and resources.
  • Reporting: Prepare weekly/monthly reports regarding budget utilization, project progress, and any emerging issues for the clients.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a PM in outsourcing companies. Priority is given to those who have previously held Tech Lead or Senior Developer roles.
  • Language Skills: Mandatory proficiency in English for direct meetings and email correspondence with clients. Proficiency in Korean is a strong plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and leadership skills under high pressure.
  • Tools: Proficient in using tools to calculate project Profit/Loss (P&L).
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of the SDLC, technical backgrounds, and outsourcing contract models (Fixed Price, Time & Materials).

 

Preferred qualifications:

    • Professional certifications such as PMP or PMI-ACP.
    • Pre-sales Experience: Assisting with estimations and writing technical proposals for new clients.
    • Knowledge of modern technologies like Cloud (AWS/Azure) and Microservices to provide strategic consultancy.
    • Direct programming experience or a background as a Tech Lead/Senior Developer
